Given Singuluma (born July 19, 1986 in Rufunsa ) is a Zambian football player who is active as a striker . He is currently under contract with TP Mazembe , a Congolese club from Lubumbashi . With the Congolese soccer champions he won the CAF Champions League in 2009 and 2010 .
Career
Singuluma began his career in Zambia with National Assembly FC from Lusaka before moving to South Africa to Bay United FC from Port Elizabeth in 2007 . With the club he rose to the Premier Soccer League in 2007/08 . The return to Zambia followed. With Zanaco FC he became the Zambian champion in 2008/09 and drew the attention of those responsible at TP Mazembe to himself. In the 2010 CAF Champions League he scored five goals in ten games. As the African title holder, he also took part in the 2009 and 2010 FIFA Club World Cups with his club .
National team
Given Singuluma was appointed to the senior national team of Zambia for the first time in 2006 by national coach Kalusha Bwalya . At the African Nations Cup 2009 , in which only players are eligible to play in the national championships of their home countries, he was top scorer with five goals and achieved third place with his country. He was also part of the Zambian squad at the 2010 African Cup of Nations in Angola . For the African Cup of Nations 2012 Singuluma was appointed by national coach Hervé Renard in the provisional tournament list, but he was not included in the final 23-man squad.
