Seechurn has been a FIFA referee since December 2003 . At international club level, he leads games of the CAF Confederation Cup and the CAF Champions League . In February 2010, Seechurn was in charge of the game for the CAF Super Cup , and in December 2014 he was referee of the final second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup. He also directs international matches between African national teams and has played in the COSAFA Senior Challenge (five games in 2007 and 2009), the African Nations Championships (six games in 2009 and 2011) and the African Championship (nine games in the tournaments in 2010, 2012, 2013) and 2014) are used. He caused a sensation when he gave a highly questionable penalty to the hosts at the 2015 Africa Cup in the quarter-final match between Tunisia and Equatorial Guinea in stoppage time when the score was 1-0, who then won the duel 2-1 in extra time . As a result, he was only able to leave the field from the angry Tunisian players under the protection of several stewards. The African continental association CAF banned Seechum for six months because of "poor performance".
