Jean-Jacques Gosso Gosso (born March 15, 1983 in Abidjan ) is an Ivorian football player .

Career

society

Jean-Jacques Gosso began his career in the youth team of Stella Club Adjamé in Ivory Coast. In 2003 he moved to Wydad Casablanca , for whose team he played in the highest Moroccan league, the Groupement National de Football . He played a total of four years for Casablanca and was able to celebrate winning the Moroccan championship with the club in 2006. He then left the record champions and signed with the Israeli club FC Ashdod . He played 44 games for Ashdod in the Ligat ha'Al and scored two goals. In July 2008, the midfielder signed a three-year contract with French Ligue 1 club AS Monaco . Already in his first season in Monaco he was able to establish himself in the defensive midfield of the Monegasque and played 31 games in Ligue 1.

In the summer of 2011 he moved to the Turkish Süper Lig for the promoted Orduspor . After working for Orduspor until mid-October 2012, he terminated his contract by mutual agreement and left this association.

In January 2013, his move to the Turkish first division club Mersin İdman Yurdu was announced. Without having played a game for Mersin İY, he parted ways with Mersin İY after two months by mutual agreement.

From summer 2013 Gosso will play for the Turkish first division club Gençlerbirliği Ankara for two seasons . For the 2015/16 season he moved to the TFF 1st Lig for promoted Göztepe Izmir . With this club he achieved the play-off victory of the league at the end of the 2016/17 season and thus promotion to the Süper Lig . At the beginning of August 2017, he terminated his contract, which was still valid for one season, after mutual agreement with the club management.

National team

Gosso took part in the 2003 Junior World Cup with the Ivory Coast U-20 national team. The midfielder made his debut for the Ivorian national soccer team in 2008 . During the qualification for the 2010 World Cup , he played two games for the Ivory Coast and qualified for the 2010 World Cup with the national team. He was appointed to the squad of the Ivorian national team for the 2010 African Cup of Nations, but was not used in any of the four games.
