Khaled Mouelhi (born February 13, 1981 in Tunis ) is a Tunisian football player . The midfielder , who took part in the 2004 Olympic Games , won the Norwegian Cup in 2007 with Lillestrøm SK .
Career
Career start in Tunisia
Mouelhi played between 2002 and 2005 with the Tuniser club Club Africain in the National A . With the team he reached the 2003 final of the Prince Faisal ibn Fahad Tournament , which ended with a 0-1 defeat against the Saudi Arabian club Al-Ahli . In the same year he was denied a title in the national cup, Stade Tunisien also prevailed with a 1-0 win. In the same year he made his debut in the 2-2 draw against the Ghanaian national team in the Tunisian national team .
In 2004 Mouelhi took part in the football competition as captain of the Tunisian Olympic team. With the team he retired after each win, a draw and a defeat as third in the group stage due to the poorer goal difference compared to the Australian U-23 selection.
Change to Norway
In the summer of 2005 Mouelhi moved to Norway to Lillestrøm SK . The move caused quite a stir, as Mouelhi's agent wanted to sue FIFA against the signing of the contract. With the team supervised by Uwe Rösler around players like Magnus Powell , Claus Reitmaier and Arild Sundgot , he reached the cup final in autumn, which despite his goal was lost to 1: 1 2: 4 against Molde FK . In the Royal League 2005/06 he moved with the team into the final, which ended with a goal from Razak Pimpong with a 0-1 defeat against FC Copenhagen .
After Mouelhi was initially only used irregularly, he was able to establish himself under coach Tom Nordlie from the 2007 season despite two transfers during the season in the defensive midfield of the club from Lillestrøm. Again he reached the final of the Norwegian Cup with the club. Two goals of Canadian Olivier Occéan was FK Haugesund defeated. In the following season he was used in 24 of the 26 season games and contributed with one goal and one assist to the relegation of the club, which slipped to twelfth place in the table. In the following years he succeeded with the club in the bottom third of the table, at times he lost his regular place.
Return to Tunisia
After the end of the 2010 season , Mouelhi returned to Tunisia and joined Espérance Tunis on January 1, 2011 . With the club, he won the Tunisian championship at the end of his first half series, and he also reached the finals of the CAF Champions League with him . In the 0-0 draw in the first leg against Wydad Casablanca he was on the field for the entire game, in the 1-0 success with a goal by the Ghanaian Harrison Afful in the second leg, he contributed as a substitute to win the title shortly before the end. By winning the national cup, the triple was made perfect. While he defended the Tunisian championship title with the team the following year, they moved into the final of the Champions League again. Coach Nabil Maâloul used him this time in both games over the entire game, but it prevailed al Ahly Cairo .
