Razak Pimpong (born December 30, 1982 in Accra ) is a former Ghanaian soccer player.

Career

The striker played as an amateur for FC Midtjylland from 2000 . From the 2004/2005 season also in the professional team. In January 2006 he moved to FC Copenhagen within the Superligaen . In April 2007 Pimpong was transferred to Norway to Viking Stavanger for 500,000 euros . After 16 games, Stavanger loaned him to league rivals Aalesunds FK . From there, Pimpong returned to Viking in December 2008. In January 2009 he left Norway and played for the Egyptian club Masry Port Said , which paid 135,000 euros. After only half a year Pimpong returned to Denmark's second-class Viborg FF .

He was part of the Ghanaian national soccer team for the 2004 Olympic Games and the 2006 World Cup . At the World Cup he played in three group games.
