Mark Anthony Fish (born March 14, 1974 in Cape Town ) is a South African football player .

Career

The center-back began his career in the youth teams of the Orlando Pirates and Arcadia Shepherds as well as at Jomo Cosmos . In 1991 he was inducted into the first team of Jomo Cosmos. 1993 moved to the next South African club, the Orlando Pirates. In 1996/1997 he played one season in Serie A with Lazio . In 1997 he moved to the British Isles for the Bolton Wanderers . In 2000 it went to Charlton Athletic , in 2005 it was awarded to Ipswich Town . During the 2005/06 season, the South African retired from football due to an injury. In early 2007 he made his comeback and signed with Jomo Cosmos . Due to lack of fitness, he did not play a game. Fish played 62 times for the South African national soccer team .
