Nogoom Football Club ( Arabic نادي النجوم لكرة القدم, DMG Nādī n-Nuǧūm li-kurat al-qadam ), Nogoom FC for short, formerly Nogoom El Mostakbal Football Club, is an Egyptian football club based in Madinat as-Sadis min Uktubar . The club currently plays in the Second Division , the second highest division in Egypt.
history
Nogoom FC was founded in 2007 with the aim of becoming one of the leading professional football clubs in Egypt, relying on young talents and giving them the opportunity to establish themselves in top-class football. According to its own statements, the club is privately owned by Mohamed Eltawila, who sees the club as a model for professionalism, unity and success.
Nogoom FC rose to the Egyptian Fourth Division for the 2008/09 season, to the Third Division for the 2010/11 season, to the Second Division for the 2013/14 season and finally to the Premier League for the 2018/19 season , but from which he was relegated a season later.
