African Cup of Champions Clubs 1978

The 1978 African Cup of Champions Clubs was the 14th edition of the annual soccer competition, the African Cup of Champions Clubs . 24 teams took part in the competition. It ended with the final second leg on December 17th between Hafia FC from Guinea and Canon Yaoundé from Cameroon . The winner was Canon Yaoundé, who won the second leg in Yaoundé 2-0 after a 0-0 draw in the first leg . This was the club's second success in the CAF Champions League after 1971.

A total of 26 teams from 26 regional associations took part in the tournament.
