AS FAR , also FAR Rabat or FAR de Rabat ( Arabic نادي الجيش الملكي, DMG Nādī l-Ǧaiš al-malakī  'Association of the Royal Army'), is a Moroccan football club in Rabat , which plays in GNF 1 .

The association was founded on September 1st, 1958 shortly after Morocco gained independence. It is still one of the most popular sports clubs in Morocco. The abbreviation FAR stands for Forces Armées Royales , which means "Royal Armed Forces" in German.
