The Stade Olympique de Sousse ( German  Olympiastadion von Sousse , Arabic الملعب الأولمبي بسوسة, DMG al-malʿab al-ūlimbī bi-Sūsa ) is a multifunctional stadium in Sousse in Tunisia . It was opened in 1973 and has an audience capacity of 25,000.

The Tunisian football clubs Étoile Sportive du Sahel and Stade Soussien play their home games in the stadium.

Initially, the stadium had a capacity of 15,000 seats. In the run-up to the African Football Championship in 1994 , there was an expansion by 6,000 places to a total of 21,000 places. The last renovation of the stadium took place in 1999, whereby the capacity was increased again to currently 25,000 seats.

In 1977 a total of 6 group C preliminary round matches took place in the stadium as part of the junior soccer world championship . In addition, the Stade Olympique des Sousse has twice hosted an African Cup of Nations . In 1994 6 preliminary round matches and two quarter-finals were played here, in 2004 there were 4 preliminary round matches and one semi-final in the stadium.
