ASKO Kara is a Togolese football club from Kara . They play in the Stade Municipal, which seats 10,000 spectators.

history

In 1975 the club was able to celebrate a national title for the first time, the Togolese cup competition. Further cup victories followed in 1976, 1987 and 1995. In 1988 the club was Togolese champions, in 1989 the success could be repeated. In 1996 and 2007 they were again champions of the country. In addition to the national successes, ASKO Kara could not convince on the international stage. The club took part in African continental competitions seven times (as of 2008), and until 2008 it never got beyond the first round.
