Football Canon 105 de Libreville is a football club from the Gabonese capital Libreville .

history

FC 105 Libreville was founded in 1975 and became one of the leading teams in the country in the following years. Already in 1979 she won her first championship title, with the third championship title in the club's history in 1983 she won the title of Gabonese record champion. After a ten-year long dry spell after the sixth title in 1987, AS Sogara was able to catch up briefly, then with three titles in a row between 1997 and 1999 and the tenth title in 2001, the rank was cemented again. Then came a new rival in particular with AS Mangasport , which was one of the leading teams for a long time and also regularly won the championship. The last championship title of FC 105 Libreville dates from 2007.

At the international level, the club has not yet won a title. The greatest success in the CAF Champions League or its predecessor competition, the African Cup of National Champions, was reaching the quarter-finals in 1988, in which the team failed at the eventual title holder ES Setif from Algeria.

To host its home games, FC 105 Libreville uses the Stade Omar Bongo , which as the national stadium also serves as the home of the Gabonese national team .
