ASC Tidjikja is a Mauritanian football club from Tidjikja , a city in the Tagant region . The club currently plays in Ligue 1 , the top division in Mauritania.
history
In the 2013/14 season, the club finished in 6th place with 15 points at the end of the season and thus had to participate in the relegation round against three other teams. Direct relegation was just missed, league rival ASC Zem Zem had one point more. In the relegation round Tidjikja was able to collect 13 points, they won four games in a row and were thus able to confidently hold the class in the end. In 2015/16 and 2016/17, the club finished the season in 4th place. The club has not yet won a national title.
