The house at Königstraße 48 , also called Hof-Apotheke , is a half-timbered house in Bad Laasphe . It is since January 10, 1986, listed building .

history

A map from 1739 shows that the house is located directly next to the west gate of the city. The farm pharmacy was relocated to this after the pharmacist Louis Cobet (1817–1876) , who came from Hilchenbach , had bought the property and received approval from the government in Arnsberg on August 2, 1848. After Cobet's death, a community of heirs of nine people received the house. From this his son Rudolf buys, as can be seen from the purchase contract of April 1, 1887. Rudolf Cobet (1859–1945) ran the pharmacy until July 31, 1938.

Then Luitgard Steitz took over the pharmacy, which was continued from 1968 by her niece Luitgard Köhler. From January 1, 1985 to December 31, 2009, the pharmacy was leased to Michael Düben. Since January 1, 2010, it has been run by Margit Köhler, Luitgard Köhler's daughter-in-law, and Matthias Köhler. The house still bears the name Hof-Apotheke . The pharmacy closed on July 31, 2015. The employees will continue to be employed in the city ​​pharmacy , which is also owned by the Köhlers in the core town of Bad Laasphe.

The half-timbered house has three floors. The half-timbering was plastered on the south and east facade up to the second floor in the 19th century, while it is visible on the north facade. The west facade is completely slated. This same west wall of the house is part of the former city wall.
