Court pharmacist (1577)
The farm pharmacy in Sigmaringen (around 1900)
Farm pharmacy "Zum Weißen Adler" in Leipzig (1980)
Farm pharmacy in Karlsruhe (2010)

A farm pharmacy was a pharmacy for a princely court . To this day there are a number of pharmacies with this or a similar name. The retention of the word Hof is intended to express the long tradition of the respective pharmacy and thus also to remind of quality that meets the highest standards. This upscale image can also bring added value in terms of tourism, because a place that houses such a pharmacy can provide obvious evidence of its historical significance.
