The club was founded in September 2005 and in 2010 was promoted to the Alpha Ethniki Gynekon , the top division of Greek women's football. The “Amazons” were able to win the championship of the 2013/14 season and thus break the dominance of the series champions PAOK Thessaloniki . They were eliminated in the 2014/15 UEFA Women's Champions League after the qualifying round. In 2014 and 2016 they also reached the cup final, but were beaten there against PAOK. Dramas last took part in the first division in the 2017/18 season and came in 4th there. Nothing has been known about the further whereabouts of the club since then.
