The Association Sportive Moulins Football 03 Auvergne was a French football club from Moulins , a town in the Allier department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region .

ASM was founded in 1927. The club colors were blue and white; the league team played at the Stade Hector Rolland , which has a capacity of 3,500 places. In the summer of 2016, the association went bankrupt . With the Académie Sportive Moulins Football, a fan group and former members founded a successor club, which will play in the National 3 in 2018/19 , i.e. at the fifth-highest league level.

League affiliation

Moulins had never had professional status and had not yet played first-class ( Division 1 , renamed Ligue 1 since 2002 ). Before his dissolution, the first team commuted almost seasonally between the third and fourth league , to which he was relegated again in 2012.
