ATnet
ATnet was an Austrian Internet provider . ATnet was founded in 1994 as part of the "Scientists found companies" campaign by Dr. Franz Penz and has since set milestones in the Austrian ISP landscape.
In addition to the first successful application of HDSL technology for Internet connections, the establishment of the first commercial data center and the achievement of the status of the first Austrian 6Bone -pTLA and the first user connection via unbundled subscriber lines (TASL), ATnet, with its development orientation, was one of the innovation leaders in the Austrian broadband sector .
ATnet was bought on February 1, 2005 and integrated into the EUnet company.
