The AVN Adult Entertainment Expo , abbreviated to AEE , is an adult entertainment fair that takes place annually in January in Las Vegas . The last fair took place from January 22nd, 2020 to January 25th, 2020.

The largest trade show of its kind in the United States is hosted by Adult Video News (AVN). Erotic and porn producers have been represented at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) technology fair since the 1980s to market their films in connection with the new video recorders . Within the CES, however, they often felt marginalized and marginalized, which is why Paul Fishbein, 1983 founder of the AVN, founded the Adult Entertainment Expo as an independent event in the late 1990s, which continued to take place at the CES in the first few years and later still benefited from the interested visitors to the CES. At the beginning of January, the Sands Expo Center in the Venetian Resort Hotel in Las Vegas took place at the same time as the CES . Since 2012, the AVN Expo has also been separated from the Consumer Electronics Show and has been held in the city's Hard Rock Hotel and Casino since the end of January .

The fair cannot be visited continuously by everyone. In principle, the event is aimed exclusively at a specialist audience on the first two days; there are open hours on the following two days when fans can visit. On the evening of the fourth and last day, the AVN Awards will be presented as part of a big show .
