AZS Częstochowa is a Polish volleyball club from Częstochowa , which plays in the Polish Volleyball League .

National League

AZS Częstochowa played in the Polish Volleyball League and was Polish champion six times in the 1990s. In the 2017 season, the club was relegated to the PlusLiga after 30 years. In the 2019 season, AZS finished last in the 1st division and was not given a license for the next season.

European Cup

AZS Częstochowa has been playing on an international level since 2001. In 2002 they came third in the Top Teams Cup . The CEV Cup was played in the 2004/05 , 2005/06 , 2007/08 and 2009/10 seasons . In 2008/09 AZS even played in the Champions League . In 2010/11 the Poles competed in the Challenge Cup . The semi-finals of 2002 could not be repeated in any competition.
