CEV Cup 2007/08 (men)

The 2007/08 volleyball season in the CEV Cup began with the first round on October 20, 2007 and ended with the final on March 24, 2008. M. Roma Volley from Italy won the competition.

Balance sheet

The only German representative in the competition was evivo Düren . Austria was represented by Hypo Tirol Innsbruck . TV Amriswil and Seat Näfels played for Switzerland .

First round to quarter-finals

In the first round, 32 teams competed against each other in a knockout system with a return leg. These games took place on 20./21. and October 26-28. The losers switched to the Challenge Cup . The winners continued to play in the round of 16 (December 11-13 and December 18-20) and the quarter-finals (January 22/23 and January 30/31).

Challenge Round to Final

The winners of the quarterfinals met in the "Challenge Round" from the teams that had been eliminated from the Champions League . The winners of this round qualified for the Final Four in Rome. The semi-finals, the final and the third place match were decided in one game each. M. Roma Volley won the final against Noliko Maaseik and OK Budvanska Rivijera secured third place against Fakel Nowy Urengoy .
