ZVH Volleyball (formerly Ortec Rotterdam Nesselande or VC Nesselande ) is a Dutch volleyball club from Zuidplas , which plays in the second Dutch league.

National league and cup

Winning the cup in 1989 was the club's first title. In 1990 Nesselande won the championship and cup double. A year later they managed to defend their title in the cup competition and in 1992 the team became Dutch champions again. Another championship followed in 1998. The next league title was won by Nesselande in 2004. The following season was the most successful year so far for the club, which not only won the national double but also the Supercup. In 2006 the team became national champions for the third time in a row. She also won the trophy again in 2006 and 2007. In 2009 and 2011 the Dutch champion was also called VC Nesselande.

European Cup

Nesselande reached the final of the Top Teams Cup in the 2004/05 season and came second after losing to Final Four hosts Olympiacos Piraeus . In the following season, the team took part in the Champions League and lost as a third party in the first playoff round against Dynamo Moscow . In the preliminary round of the Champions League 2006/07 Nesselande met u. a. to the top 3 of the previous year and retired as the bottom of the group. In the 2007/08 European Cup season, the Dutch lost to Fakel Novy Urengoy in the first round of the CEV Cup ; then they reached the quarter-finals in the Challenge Cup , where they lost the Golden Set against Resovia Rzeszów . The following season they were eliminated in the second round of the CEV Cup against GC Lamia .
