The VK Dukla Liberec is a Czech volleyball club from Liberec , the 1948 ATK Prague in the former Czechoslovakia was established and today in the Extraliga plays. The greatest success in the club's history is winning the 1975 European Cup .

history

The club was founded in 1948 as the Army Sports Club ATK Prague ( Armádní tělovýchovný klub ). and was able to win three championship titles between 1950 and 1952. In 1953 the club was renamed Ústřední dům armády Praha before moving to Kolín in 1957.

Between 1966 and 1969 the club played as Dukla Jihlava before being transferred to Liberec, where it is today, in 1969.

Since the collapse of Czechoslovakia, the club no longer belongs to the Czech armed forces, but is a public sports club.
