Arkasspor İzmir is a Turkish sports club from Izmir , whose volleyball team plays in the highest Turkish league. The association was founded in 2001. In addition to volleyball, swimming and sailing are also practiced.
The men's volleyball team has won two Turkish championships (2006 and 2007) and two Turkish Cup winners (2009 and 2011). Internationally, Arkasspor İzmir has been active in the Champions League , the CEV Cup and the Challenge Cup since 2005 . The greatest successes were winning the CEV Cup in 2009 and reaching the Final Four in the Champions League in 2012 .
