Trentino Volley , also known as ITAS Diatec Trentino , is an Italian volleyball club that plays in the first Italian division (Serie A1).

history

Trentino Volley emerged on May 23, 2000 from ITAS BTB, from Mezzolombardo , a team that last played in the second Italian division (A2).

Trentino Volley acquired the right to play in the highest league in Ravenna . The first venue was the Gardolo sports hall , but it was too small for games in the first division, so the club moved to the PalaGhiaie of Trento , which was then called PalaTrento and has been called the BLM Group Arena since 2018 .

In its first season (2000-01), the club placed in the midfield (10 °). For the first time for the championship play-off, the club qualified in its fourth season (2002-03), a company that he has repeated every year since 2006, with the fourth finish in 2006, the best result up to that point.

Trentino has been a top Italian and European team since 2008 and has been five times club world champion , four times Italian champion and three times winners of the Champions League and three times Italian cup winners.
