The FK Radnički 1923 (full official name in Serbian : Фудбалски клуб Рaднички 1923 - ФК Рaднички 1923 Fudbalski klub Radnički 1923 - FK Radnički 1923 ), usually FK Radnički Kragujevac , as Crveni Đavoli known ( "The Red Devils"), is a Serbian football club from Kragujevac . The club currently plays in the Srpska liga Zapad , the third highest division in Serbian football.
history
The club was founded in 1923 under the name FK Mladi Radnik in Kragujevac . The first club president was Aleksandar Ratković. Mladi Radnik played his first game at SK Triglav and lost 2-0. In their first home game they played against SK Radnički from Belgrade on August 16, 1925. SK Radnički won 5-0. A week later, on August 23, 1925, Mladi Radnik won his first game against FK Radnički Niš 7-1. 1929 changed Mladi Radnik its name to KFK Radnički .
1969 FK Radnički Kragujevac rose in the first Yugoslav league on after the play-offs to FK Sutjeska and FK Crvenka had struck. On September 7, 1969 Radnički Kragujevac celebrated a big 4-1 victory against FK Partizan in the Partizana stadium . On September 15, 1969 they reached a 4: 4 against the Brazilian club FC Santos . The goalscorers for Santos were Edu with 3 and Pelé with 1 goal, while for Radnički Nikolić , Paunović and Paunovski scored with 2 goals. The club finished its first season in the first division in 15th and had an average attendance of 10,850 per game.
In 2010 the club changed its name to FK Radnički 1923 .
