The stadium Čika Dača ( Serbian - Cyrillic Стадион Чика Дача ; Serbian for "Stadium Uncle Dača"), usually short Čika Dača or Dača , is a football stadium with an athletics facility and 15,100 seats . It is the home of FK Radnički Kragujevac , a Serbian football club from Kragujevac . The stadium was named after Danilo Stojanović , who was known as one of the football pioneers in the Kingdom of Serbia under the nickname "Čika Dača".
history
Construction of the stadium began in November 1949 and, for various reasons, took a full eight years. Construction was completed on June 6, 1957. The stadium offered around 30,000 spectators. The opening game took place between FK Radnički Kragujevac and FK Partizan and ended in a 2-2 draw.
The largest number of spectators ever recorded in the stadium, the stadium had on September 15, 1969 during the friendly against FC Santos . Around 40,000 spectators came to support their team against the top Brazilian club around world star Pelé . The legendary game ended spectacularly 4: 4. The goals for Radnički Kragujevac were scored by Nikolić, Paunović and Paunovski twice, while for FC Santos Pelé scored once and Edu scored a hat trick .
There are two other football fields next to the stadium . In 2007, all grandstands were renovated and equipped with seats. In 2013, a new club building with changing rooms for players and referees was built on an area of around 1,400 square meters , as well as space for anti- doping controls, the youth teams, the administration and a press center . The Serbian government , the city of Kragujevac and Radnički approved over 100 million Serbian dinars (approx. 1 million euros ).
Future developments
Further renovations are planned for the stadium in order to meet the requirements of the Fudbalski savez Srbije (FSS), the Serbian Football Association, and the safety standards for national and international football events set by FIFA and UEFA, as well as the UEFA stadium infrastructure regulations . So installing are floodlights , construction of VIP - boxes , the roof of the West Stand and the renovation of the east stand provided.
