The FK Dinamo Vranje (officially on Serbian : Фудбалски клуб Динамо Врање - ФК Динамо Врање, Fudbalski klub Dinamo Vranje  - FK Dinamo Vranje ), usually FK Dinamo , is a Serbian football club from Vranje . The club was founded in 1947 and has been playing in the Superliga , the top division of Serbian football , since 2018 .

history

The club was founded in 1947. The first promotion to the Prva league was achieved in the 2005/06 season . In the 2006/07 season the club was relegated directly back to the Serbian East League , before the club succeeded in direct promotion in the 2007/08 season. After three years in the Prva Liga and two years in the Serbian East League, the club was relegated to the Niš Zone, Serbia's fourth division, in the 2012/13 season. From the 2013/14 to 2015/16 season, the club managed to march through from the fourth to the second division. In the 2017/2018 season, Dinamo achieved their first promotion to the Superliga after finishing second in the Prva Liga. In May 2017, the club announced that they wanted to renovate their stadium.
