The FK Sinđelić Beograd (full official name in Serbian : Фудбалски клуб Синђелић - ФК Синђелић, Fudbalski klub Sinđelić - FK Sinđelić ), actually FK Sinđelić , usually Sinđelić , occasionally Sinđelić Beograd is a Serbian football club from the capital Belgrade . The club, founded in 1937 and named after Stevan Sinđelić , a Serbian voivod leader in the first Serbian uprising against the Ottoman occupation of Serbia, currently plays in the Prva league , the second-highest division in Serbian football .
FK Sinđelić Beograd achieved its first significant successes in 2013, when they were promoted to the Prva liga for the first time. At the end of the 2014/15 season, under coach Gordan Petrić , a former player of the Yugoslav national soccer team or the national team of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (1992-2003), with a 6th place, the greatest success in the club's history was followed. Since the 2015/16 season Zoran Mirković has been head coach, also a former national player of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and Serbia and Montenegro (2003-2006), who previously worked under Petrić as an assistant coach at FK Sin FKelić.
The club plays its home games in the FK Sinđelić stadium , which has a capacity of 3,000 and is traditionally called Barutana , but is in need of renovation in order to meet all quality and safety standards for national football events of the highest division. In addition, Sinebenelić has an auxiliary pitch that is covered with artificial turf .
