Stadion

The stadium of FK Inđija is the Gradski stadion Inđija . It is close to the city center by the train station and the Belgrade – Subotica – Budapest line. It was built on the site of a former locomotive depot. For decades it has been the center of sports and football activities in the city. Immediately after Železnik Inđija was founded, the area was fenced off. Wooden seats were set up and the capacity reached 600 spectators. Changing rooms were not built until 1962. Until then, people changed in the sports café opposite the stadium. The decrepit wooden seats were not replaced until 1970. In 2006 the stadium got its current appearance. The first sports facility could accommodate between 4,000 and 5,000 people. More recently, the requirements for both safety and comfort have tightened, so the capacity has dropped to 4,000. In 2006, plans for the future for an expansion to 9,000 seats were presented.
