Đorđe Rakić [ ˈdʑɔrdʑɛ ˈrakitɕ ] ( Serbian - Cyrillic Ђорђе Ракић , UEFA spelling Djordje Rakić , born October 31, 1985 in Kragujevac , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Serbian football player .

Career

Đorđe Rakić began his career in 1992 at his city club Radnički Kragujevac , where he made his debut in the first team at the age of 17. By 2003 he was used in 17 games in the Serbian 2nd division , in which he scored eleven goals. After the team was relegated at the end of the season, Rakić moved to the 2003/04 season for the first time for the first division club OFK Belgrade . After he was again active for his hometown club from 2004 to 2005, scoring eleven goals in 47 completed third division games, he transferred again to the club in Belgrade for the 2005/06 season. He came to 40 missions and 17 goals by 2007. In 2006 he worked for the U-21 national team of Serbia at the U-21 European Championship in Portugal . At the U-21 European Championship in 2007 in the Netherlands , he was runner-up with the Serbian team, Rakić was used in all five games. After numerous offers from top European clubs, he moved to FC Red Bull Salzburg in August 2007 .

Rakić made his debut in Austria on September 15, 2007, the 10th match day, against SV Mattersburg , when he stormed alongside Alexander Zickler from the start . He was substituted on for Vratislav Lokvenc in the 74th minute . He scored his first goal in Austria on December 15, 2007 against SK Sturm Graz , when he equalized to 1-1 with a header after preliminary work by Markus Steinhöfer . In the 2008/09 season he was deported from coach Co Adriaanse to the second team of Salzburg, which is active in the second-rate first division. Before the end of the transfer in 2008, after taking part in the football tournament at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing , Rakić moved on loan to the Italian first division club Reggina Calcio . In the summer of 2009 he returned to Salzburg and has since played with the Bulls' junior division in the second highest Austrian division. In the first half of the season he scored ten goals in eleven league games for the Juniors. He was also used for the first combat team in the 2009/10 ÖFB Cup in the 7-1 victory over SK Vorwärts Steyr in the first round of the competition . He scored four goals himself and prepared another hit. He also came on for a brief appearance in the 2009/10 UEFA Europa League when he came on on October 22, 2009 in the 1-0 win over Levski Sofia in the 75th minute for Alexander Zickler.

During the winter break of 2009/10, Rakić moved to the German second division club TSV 1860 Munich on loan until the end of the season , he was used fourteen times and scored three goals. At the end of the season, the Munich Lions did not withdraw the negotiated purchase option, Rakić then nominally returned to Salzburg. The TSV 1860, however, continued to seek a commitment Rakićs. On August 9, 2010, he finally signed a contract with the Sechzgern until 2012 . In the first four games of the new 2010/11 season , Rakić scored four goals. In the first half of the season he was used except for one game and was next to Benjamin Lauth second striker, but did not score in the following games. In the second half of the season he played eleven games, none of which over the full length. Kevin Volland had taken over the regular place in the storm from him. On the last day of the match he scored his fifth goal of the season.

For financial reasons, Rakić should be sold in the summer of 2011, but he wanted to stay in Munich. In 15 test matches until mid-September, he scored 25 goals. He was not used in competitive games and was often not even in the 18-man squad. On September 18, the 8th matchday, he completed his first competitive appearance of the 2011/12 season at the home game against FSV Frankfurt . As a result, he was used in every game until winter, scoring three goals and preparing three more. Often he did not play in his usual position in the center of the attack, but in the left attacking midfield. After the winter break, he played 13 of 15 games and scored two goals. Rakić rejected an offer to extend the contract at reduced pay in spring 2012 and thus left TSV 1860 in summer 2012. In total, he had played 65 league games for the Munich Lions and scored 13 goals. He was used three times in the DFB Cup. After a short stopover in Qatar at the two top division clubs Al-Gharafa and Al-Arabi, he played for Red Star Belgrade from 2013 to 2015 before moving to China.
