The Zhejiang Greentown Football Club is a football club based in Hangzhou in China . The club plays in the China League One , the second highest division in the country. The club plays its home games at the Hangzhou Dragon Stadium .
history
The club was founded in 1998 as Zhejiang Greentown. The club was renamed for the last time in 2014. The club started in the 3rd Chinese league in 1999. After the promotion was missed twice, in 2001 the first team of the second division club Yanbian FC was bought. Thus the automatic start right for the 2nd league was bought. As the second division champions of the 2006 season, the club rose to the Chinese Super League for the first time . The first season in the House of Lords ended Greentown in eleventh place. In the 2008 season there was a ninth place in the final table. After ten seasons in the Chinese Super League, the club was relegated to the second division as penultimate in the 2016 season .
