A Paz é Possível em Timor-Leste APPTL ( German  peace is possible in East Timor ) is a Portuguese non-governmental organization based in Lisbon . It was founded in 1982 with the aim of disseminating information and calls from the Catholic Church in East Timor during the Indonesian occupation (1975-1999). The members of the APPTL are Christians of different denominations who had previously founded different local groups in Portugal and abroad to campaign for East Timor.

The group regularly publishes a bulletin in Portuguese and French under the title “Em Timor Leste a Paz é Possível” . an English version has been published by the Catholic Institute for International Relations. The APPTL was part of the worldwide network International Federation for East Timor (IFET).

Even after East Timor's independence in 2002, the organization continued to exist.

In 2015, the organization was awarded the Ordem de Timor-Leste medal by the president of the now independent East Timor, Taur Matan Ruak .
