The Aachener Tanzsportclub Blau-Silber e. V. was a German dance club based in Aachen , which put its focus on popular sport and, since 2005, on Latin American formation dancing . It was founded on March 12, 1973 as "Dance Better Aachen" and in 1982 adopted its current name.

The club, which was founded purely as a popular sports club, received a formation department in 2005, which, with four teams, had become the strongest in terms of numbers in North Rhine-Westphalia by the time it was dissolved in 2012.

In addition to the annual formation tournaments of the Bundesliga and the western division, the Aachen TSC Blau-Silber was also a co-host of the annual multi-surface tournament Tanzen im Dreiländereck , which is organized together with other Aachen dance sports clubs.

In a joint press release on November 28, 2011, the boards of directors of the ATSC Blau-Silber and the TSC Schwarz-Gelb Aachen announced that they would aim for a merger of the two clubs in 2012. On February 25, 2012, the general meetings of both associations approved the merger.

The A-Team formed anew for the 2005/06 season and, after twelve tournament victories in a row, was able to start the 2007/08 season in the regional league. For three years in a row, a choreography on the musical theme of "Frankie" was danced with music by the band Frankie goes to Hollywood . With this choreography, the A-Team made it through from the Landesliga West Latin to the 2nd Bundesliga Latin. In the 2nd Bundesliga Latin, the A-Team then started in the 2008/2009 season with the theme "Thunder", with which the league could be won. In the 2009/2010 season the team competed in the 1st Bundesliga Latin. The musical theme was again "Thunder". At the end of the 2010/2011 season, in which the musical theme "Viva La Vida" was danced, the team was relegated to the 2nd Latin Bundesliga.

The latter was also responsible for individual training in Latin. They were assisted by Thomas Rath (world champion 1997 and 1998) and Bernhard Liebenhoff (world champion 1996 to 1998).

After the league in the 1st Bundesliga, Ton Greten was won as a trainer and choreographer in April 2010 , who coached the A-Team with Thomas Rath and Bernhard Liebenhoff under the overall direction of Kerstin Hering (1998 World Champion).
