Ten dances

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The term " ten dances " (also combination ) describes in dance the dancing of all ten classical tournament dances in a competition, which is seen by many as the " supreme discipline ". While in standard or Latin tournaments the couples only complete five dances each, in tournaments "over ten dances" they have to present all of the dances mentioned below.

These are the dances Slow Waltz , Tango , Viennese Waltz , Slowfox and Quickstep from the field of standard dances as well as the dances Samba , Rumba , Cha-Cha-Cha , Paso Doble and Jive , which come from the field of Latin American dances.
