Aaron's staff

Aaron's rod (Original title: Aaron's Rod ) is a 1922 published novel by DH Lawrence . It tells the story of the Midlands miner's son Aaron Sisson , who leaves his wife and children to lead a life as a traveling flautist . In the work Lawrence constructs a parallel between the blooming staff of the biblical figure Aaron and the flute played by Aaron Sisson.
