Aaron Krosnick
Aaron Krosnick (* 1937 ) is an American violinist and music teacher.
The brother of cellist Joel Krosnick had his first violin lessons with Howard Boatwright . At the Juilliard School he also studied for two years with Louis Persinger with Joseph and Lillian Fuchs , Hans Letz , Robert Mann , Artur Balsam and Louis Poulet . He also attended a summer course with Ivan Galamian in Meadowmount and was a student of Arthur Grumiaux in Brussels for a year . He was concertmaster of the Jacksonville Symphony for ten yearsand until his retirement professor of music at Jacksonville University . His students include Abigail Nixon , Henry Flory , Timothy Kidder , Allison Edwards Marshall , Vicky Ozment , Edward Latimer , Ashlee Davis and Jennifer Lane . As a chamber musician, he gives concerts with his wife, the pianist Mary Lou Wesley Krosnick .
