Abaja laht (laht = bay) is a bay in the rural municipality of Saaremaa in the Saare district on the largest Estonian island of Saaremaa . It forms the gap between the Papissaare poolsaar peninsula and the mainland of Saaremaa island. In the 114 hectare bay are the islands of Vassiklaid , Kadakalaiu kuiv , Süllanina kuiv and two nameless islands, all of which are in the Vilsandi National Park . The neighboring bay is called Kiirassaare laht .
