Abakuá
Abakuá is an Afro-Cuban secret society , which has its origin in fraternal associations in the Cross River region of Nigeria and southwestern Cameroon .

He came to Cuba around 1820 and quickly found supporters among the blacks who had been living there for a long time, mainly slaves, but also among the mulattos and some whites.
Content
The various currents all used the leopard as a symbol of masculinity. Abakuá is characterized by particular forms of expression in dance, music and religious rituals. Women were not allowed into this secret society.
