Abar is a bantoide language of Cameroon .
It belongs to the language group of the west boob languages and thus to the language family of the Niger-Congo languages .
Abar is also the name of the village in which the language is spoken. The language is also spoken in the villages of Missong, Munken, Ngun and Za '. The language is also called Fən in these villages , which means 'mouth' in the Abar language.
