Salesian Oblates of the Sacred Heart of Jesus
The Salesianeroblatinnen of the Sacred Heart of Jesus ( it : Salesiane Oblate del Sacro Cuore di Gesu , religious symbol : SOSC and SOSC ) are a Catholic religious order .
The sister community founded on December 8, 1933 by the Salesian Don Boscos and Bishop of Bova , Giuseppe Cognata SDB (1885–1972) in Bova Marina is a congregation of papal law and was founded by Pope John XXIII. recognized by decree on January 16, 1962. The seat of the order is in Tivoli near Rome. The order is active in Italy, Bolivia and Peru, especially in youth work.
