The Abarth Trofeo Slalom is a Swiss brand cup that is held according to the rules of the automobile slalom . The series was launched by Abarth Switzerland in 2009.
Regulations
Only drivers who have a class B driving license and a local racing license (referred to as “national” in other countries) or higher are allowed to take part.
Certain models that have been built or refined by Abarth are permitted in the series. In 2009, the current Abarth Grande Punto and 500 Abarth models, models like Stilo Abarth , Punto Abarth or 600 Abarth and historic vehicles such as Ritmo Abarth , 131 Abarth , Abarth 1000 TC / TCR , Abarth 595/695 were approved.
From 2010, the following vehicle classes were added: Corsa class with modified Abarth vehicles (also without road approval, but then with an annual license from Auto Sport Switzerland ), Supersport class with standard Abarths (with road approval) and Storico class with historic Abarth models that again without road approval and then again with an annual license from ASS.
As of 2017, the vehicle classes are divided into the Abarth class (standard Abarth), Abarth Supersport class (standard Abarth with accessories) and Abarth Corsa class (modified Abarth and historic Abarth).
Point system
The following points are awarded to the classified drivers:

Only drivers who have achieved at least three valid results are listed in the overall ranking. If there are fewer than six drivers in a class, only half points are awarded.
Events
Since it was founded in 2009, the competitions have been held in events of varying frequency. Seven races were held in 2009 and 2010, ten in 2011 and eight in 2012. The races take place in the framework of the Swiss Slalom Championship .
Eight races were held in 2017.
