Abas (son of Poseidon)
Abas ( Greek Ἄβας ) is a figure in Greek mythology .
Abas was the son of Poseidon and Arethusa . The Abanten tribe living on the island of Evia is said to have been named after him. Other sources ascribe this name of the Abanten to other mythical persons named Abas.
