Abdelhamid Temmar

Abdelhamid Temmar (born October 24, 1938 ) is an Algerian politician and economist .

Life

Temmar studied in Algiers, Paris and London (London Graduate School of Business Studies). He is Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Law and Economics at the University of Algiers . Temmar worked for the United Nations as an advisor for Benin and as a secretary for various programs, for example for the United Nations Development Program .

Temmar has been a minister since 2006, initially in the cabinet of Prime Minister Abdelaziz Belkhadem for the field of youth, public education and tourism and from 2008 under Ahmed Ouyahia initially as Minister for Industry and Economic Development, currently he is Minister for Future Studies and Statistics.
