The information about his previous activity as a journalist is not adequately supported by supporting documents ( e.g. individual evidence ). Information without sufficient evidence could be removed soon. Please help Wikipedia by researching the information and including good evidence.
In contrast to the two books, for which there are indications that they actually exist, we only have his own information about his earlier work as a journalist on the "continue writing" website. We don't learn anything about where / for whom / in which areas he worked as a journalist. Publishing articles and short stories in newspapers and magazines (if it is true) does not turn a writer into a journalist, quite apart from the fact that we do not even know the name of any of these publications, let alone name a single specific publication. That is too meager to be classified as a "journalist".
The information “studied literature in Syria” is also empty and beyond that too vague. Arabic literature? At which university?

Abdullah Alqaseer ( Arabic عبد الله القصير, DMG ʿAbd Allāh al-Qaṣīr ; * 1976 in Salamiyya , Syria ) is a Syrian writer. He lives in Halle (Saale) .

Life

In Syria, Alqaseer studied Arabic at the Baath University in Homs and worked as a journalist for several years.

His first novel was published in 2018 under the title Kawābīs mustaʿmala ("Used Nightmares"). He had previously published a book of short stories which was published in the United Arab Emirates in 2015. In his books and stories written in Arabic, Alqaseer deals with events and the reality of life in Syria, a country with civil war, on the run and in the foreign new homeland.
