Abdullahi Abdi

Sheikh Abdullahi Abdi is a contemporary figure of Islam in Kenya . He is the chairman of the National Muslim Leaders Forum (NAMLEF), the managing director of Northern Aid (NAID) in Kenya (a locally incorporated non-profit, non-religious, and non-political NGO working in Northern Kenya ”) And Chairman of the National Governing Council for the New Partnership for Africa's Development in Nairobi, Kenya.

He is one of the most prominent representatives of the Muslims and human rights advocate in Kenya. He was one of the supporters of the Kenyan Constitution of 2010 , which contains provisions that Muslim parties to a civil dispute are allowed to go to court before the Qadi (i.e. under religious law).

He was one of the signatories of the Amman Message ( Amman Message ).
