The Abdurrahman Pasha Mosque ( Albanian  Xhamia e Abdurrahman Pashës ) or " mosque with clock " (Xhamia me Sahat) is a mosque in the middle Albanian town Peqin .

The mosque is located on the central square of the old town on the important route between Durrës and Elbasan . The original construction of the domed mosque was built by Abdurrahman Abdi Pasha in 1666 or 1667. Later destroyed by fire, it was rebuilt in the 1830s by his descendant, Cafer Sadık Pascha. Right next to it, a clock tower was built at the same time . As a square domed structure, it resembles the Et'hem Bey Mosque in Tirana . The floor plan was 14 meters square and was surmounted by a high dome. Numerous windows donated a lot of light in the interior. A narrow and very high minaret , the foundation walls of which partly belonged to the cube, was attached. An open vestibule with numerous columns, a wooden roof and red tiles stands in front of the entrance.

The previous building around 1917. 1970 the building burned down

The mosque was destroyed around 1970 after the dictator Enver Hoxha declared Albania an atheist state and banned Islam as a religion . Only the clock tower and vestibule remained - the latter served as a café from then on. At an unknown time it was declared a national cultural monument; the clock tower was placed under protection in 1963. After the collapse of the socialist dictatorship, the reconstruction of the mosque began in 1992. The new building was based on the template of the destroyed church and with the inclusion of material that was found in the archives of the Institute for Cultural Assets. However, the dome was covered with lead instead of brick and painted in bright colors.
