Evening reading

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The evening reading (ABV) is carried out in the Swiss Army every evening in order to check the personnel of the troops and to explain any information and commands for the following day. It ended for recruits , soldiers and privates as well as Corporal unless they are part of the squad, the working and the output. After the evening reading, the accommodation cannot be left without a permit.

Procedure

The evening reading (previously called "ZV room reading") is led by the main field woman or his deputy.

In the recruit school , a room chief is ordered for each troop room, who is present at the evening reading. He reports the availability of the room to the main field woman and receives his information in order to pass it on to the troops in his room. The troop must either stand in rest in front of the bed or lie in bed. During the ABV there is absolute silence in the rooms.
