Hasenbergl adventure playground
The Hasenbergl adventure playground - ABIX is an adventure playground in the Hasenbergl district of Munich . The 12,000 square meter, natural area covered with large trees in Feldmochinger Anger offers space for children between the ages of six and 13 to develop and learn. In addition to the hut town with around 30 huts and tree houses , a pirate ship, a cable car, a fireplace, a volleyball field, a sand and mud area as well as extensive hilly terrain create incentives to play and exercise.
Professional pedagogical specialists (usually social pedagogues with the support of volunteers) design the educational offer of the facility, which also includes excursions (including museum, cinema, swimming), vacation trips, creative offers and overnight activities. There is a free lunch menu for up to 50 children every day.
It was built in 1971 and is the oldest adventure playground in Munich and one of the oldest in Germany. The sponsor is the Kreisjugendring München-Stadt .
