Ablabius Illustrios
Ablabius Illustrios joined the Novatians at the end of the 4th or beginning of the 5th century . He was ordained a presbyter and later became Bishop of Nikaia . He is probably identical with a rhetorician from Galatia who corresponded with Libanios , Gregor von Nazianz and probably also with Gregory von Nyssa . He was valued for his homilies , none of which have survived. There is still an epigram in the Cyclos of Agathias , which describes the genealogy of a plate or missorium . In the Anthologia Palatina he is referred to as vir illustrissimus .
